How does it work?
A credit shows up on your electric bill.
Our solar feeds clean energy into the grid. In return, the utility (National Grid) compensates us with bill credits, which can be used to offset any electric user's billing liability. We allocate and distribute these bill credits to our subscribers.
If you become a subscriber, your allocation of solar bill credits will reduce or even eliminate your electric bill to National Grid!
You get a discount on the bill credits you receive.
We send subscribers an invoice for their bill credit allocation. But subscribers don't have to pay us for the full value of the credits they receive.
Instead, subscribers get a guaranteed 10% discount on the value of their credits. Most subscribers save at least several hundred dollars per year!

Made possible by State incentives
We are able to save you money on your electric bill thanks to the Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) program, which provides incentives for solar energy development in the Commonwealth.

Why subscribe to community solar?
Most subscribers save more than $400 per year on their electric bills. With electricity costs often rising faster than inflation, joining community solar is one way to combat rising costs.
Avoid Cost and Hassle
Becoming a community solar subscriber comes at no upfront cost to you. No need to pay for your own rooftop panels! Subscribers remain National Grid customers and continue to enjoy the same, reliable electric service.
Save the Planet
By subscribing to community solar, you can support the clean energy transition, help reduce air pollution, and combat climate change.
Support Local Clean Energy
We are a locally owned small business, and our solar arrays are located right here in Massachusetts. When you subscribe, you invest in our community's clean energy infrastructure.
